The institute is a center for languages with research and teaching facilities. The aim of the proposal is to create a framework for knowledge and education. The simple plan creates an unexpected interplay of interior spaces and exterior gardens. The contrast between inside and out is stark with dark wooden clad exterior and bright and spacious interior. The gables on the north elevation are a reference to the local building heritage.
